for pre-and-teens
A unique program of 7 virtual sessions
with Carmen Vicente and invited teachers
From August to November 2022
The School of Secrets invites teens who are about to menstruate or menstruating to a unique experience to revitalize their connection with the body, the senses, art, and health.

As a student, you will receive knowledge about
The
Rite
Through the rites, we enter extraordinary spaces that allow us to mobilize and process emotions and sensations. We transform everyday life and invite intention and attention to be present for health and balance.
Transits mark a benchmark of personal transformation. Understanding the transit of menstruation (every time we receive it, not just the first time) helps us to get closer to the mysteries and secrets that come with it. The rite of initiation and transit has been a fundamental tool in the education of humanity and generations.

knowledge
Education about our cycles leads us to the path of self-knowledge, perception, intuition, and assertiveness. A woman's menstrual blood is a biological component that allows the continuity and fertility of life. In opposition to the shame and pain that this milestone often generates, blood is a state that develops a relationship of wisdom, intimacy, and health.
the
transit
We have lost the charm of the inheritance that is menstruation, this disconnects us from our physical, emotional, and mental health. Although the knowledge of that power is not active in our daily consciousness, the source is still with us.

Teens about to menstruate or menstruating. Up to 16 years.

HOW IS THE COURSE ORGANIZED?
7 live virtual sessions on the Zoom platform:

★ 2 ceremonies: opening and closing
★ 1 session with students only
★ 1 session with mother, father, and guardian only
★ 1 family session
★ 2 sessions with special guest teachers

WHEN?​
The program will run from August to November. All meetings will be held on Saturday. The exact dates and times will be defined with the registered group.

In what language?
In Spanish and Hebrew. Next year we hope to open a course with interpretation for English-speakers.

The School of Secrets is an educational entity with 20 years of existence. Its curriculum is based on female pedagogy, an experiential and practical work that invites you to revitalize the body, recover rest, understand art as a design for life (altars, embroidery, and singing), and attend to food as an inalienable right to health.

The School of Secrets (adults) is a global community program. Her alumni reside in North, Central, and South America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Israel, Australia, and many more places on Earth. Since 2020, Carmen has been offering instruction online.

CARMEN VICENTE
A lifetime dedicated to theater, art, and as a Medicine Woman, Carmen revitalizes the memory of the ancient cultures of the earth and renews the awareness of the relationship between Spirit and Life through "Art as Origin".

Heir to a spiritual lineage and recognized from birth for her skills as a "healer", her unique way of working with the altar, fire, ancestors, medicines, Vision Quest, Sundance, School of Secrets, and the Spirit Dance has become a voice of reference for individuals and groups around the world.

With her presence, she delivers and shares knowledge about the necessary tools to take care of our own lineage of Power and the path to rediscovering the origin and the responsibilities that we must assume in these times

MAMA MICHE
Healer, spiritual and community leader. For four decades she has been practicing midwifery in the community and in cities. She works with different groups and organizations teaching ancient ways of healing the body and spirit. Her lineage comes from her ancestors who have practiced Andean Shamanism.
Kory Nuwa Guamán
Singer-songwriter born in Cantón Cañar, province of Cañar, from a family with lineages of music and ancestral knowledge of the Cañari nation. She is a Social Communication student, who graduated from the Rudecindo Inga Vélez Academy of Arts. Her voice has collaborated in musical groups, and presentations inside and outside the country carrying the multicolored breath between poetry and melodies of her town. She was Ñusta Archaeological and Cultural Capital of Ecuador in 2017. She is part of the groups: "Tremendas Ecuador", "Warmikuna Pacha" and "Ayni Ara".

We are menstruating and we have not been educated or instructed in it. Nor what it is to be a woman, her condition as a woman, and her transits.
That's what I do at the School of Secrets. Where I teach women of all ages matters of life, health, dreams, vision, perspective, and freedom.
